How can I be a contestant?
In order to be a contestant for Evoke Minute to Win It, you must submit a videoexpressing why you should be chosen to be a contestant. Our panel will reviewevery video and choose contestants from these videos. Also there will be up to6 contestants chosen from the crowd on the night of the event. The best way tobecome a contestant is to submit a creative, clean video post it on youtube.comor vimeo.com or upload it directly to facebook.com and email a link of thevideo to cwinkler@trinitytoday.com.*
Rules
This will be a bracket style tournament. Each contestantwill be paired up with another. They will compete head to head to complete apre-determined task in the time amount of 60seconds. The winner advances to thenext round.
1. 1. If they both win- the both advance.
2. 2. If they both loose- they will get one strikeagainst them and will compete again. Failure to have a winner after threeattempts will result in a double elimination.
The winner at the end of tournament style will lock in theprize of $250. They will then compete in a final task for $500. If thecontestant completes the final task they will win $500 total. If they do notcomplete the final task they will still walk away with $250.
Each game will have instructions with specific rules. Ifthese rules are not followed it will result in a “loss” for that contestant. Ifboth contestants fail to follow the rules- see number 2. For times ofdisagreement or confusion a panel will decide the final outcome.
Everyone who competes will be put into a drawing to win aniPad. This prize will be given away at our Evoke service September 14, 2010.
